This is very frequent in canaries of young age. The obstruction is produced because part of their excrement is adhered to the cloacal area.
This is solved by cleaning the affected area with a piece of cotton soaked in warm water. The hardest residues will be removed, detaching them from the area very carefully.
If the problem persists, increase green leafs in diet to produce a laxative effect.
